Zaeed Razzaq is a graduate of Fitchburg State University holding a B.S. in Communications Media with a focus on Graphic Design. Even during his studies, he has been gaining professional design experience from his work in both freelance and studio settings since 2021.
Zaeed's design work started the summer after his first year taking graphic design courses. Zaeed was commissioned by Perrone's Barber Shoppe in Shrewsbury, MA to update their store's logo to placed on both their front and side doors. Later, his school led him to two opportunities for illustration, one being for the Route 2 Literary Journal's cover, splash pages, and little drawings to represent the majority of stories submitted to the book, and the Visions 2022 juried exhibition's promotional materials. Over the past Summer, Zaeed was tasked with finding an internship in order to graduate from his school, luckily, he found two. His first was with a nonprofit organization based out of Chicago, IL named Educate. Radiate. Elevate., where he was tasked with creating social media graphics and motion based content for their pages on various platforms (i.e. FaceBook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, etc.) and flyers for the organization's Illinois and Texas-based events. Later, he got hired by Exsel Advertising Group, based in Sturbridge, MA, where they supplied him with valuable skills, including packaging design, business-to-business (B2B) graphics, and project organization to where he has been able to streamline his process when utilizing mulitple Adobe Creative Cloud programs.
